Epic day yesterday and an awesome new milestone!

5/15/11
Yesterday, Tyler and I went over to James' house and hung out with them. They cooked hamburgers and hot dogs and we played Dance Central on the Kinect. I had a lot of fun this time. :) Usually, I feel kinda like an outsider because everyone over there are Tyler's friends, but this time my friend Cassandra (James' girlfriend) and her little boy were over there. I was even brave enough to dance (poorly) in front of everyone.

After we left their house, we headed over to Dalton to meet Shane and Jordy at the fair.I took some dramamine before going because I always end up getting sick on the rides. The first ride that we rode was called the Power Surge. Basically, two people are sitting beside each other and you're facing two other people. Then this long arm lifts you up and spins you around and your seats spin, too. I was terrified but I'm so glad that I rode it. I remember looking over at Shane and him being completely upside down and screaming. Hahaha!

After that ride we rode the tilt a whirl twice and the bumper cars. Then we got on what we thought was a simple kid ride..... the Rock and Roller. In this one, you spin around on a track, just in a big circle. So I was thinking no big deal. And the cart that you're in spins upside down in a complete vertical 360. But the catch is, Shane and I were already feeling queasy and we thought that you controlled the cart. So we get in and get strapped in (Shane sitting across from me) and then I realize that there's no wheel or anything. Just before the ride started, I yelled and asked the guy if it spun on its own. Yep...... and it spun a lot. Every time I opened my eyes, Shane was across from me looking like he was going to throw up, and trust me if he would have, we all would have been covered. But thankfully, he didn't. After that ride though, he and I were way too sick to ride anything else, even the ferris wheel.

So all in all, I had an amazing day and I'm really glad that I got to spend it with Tyler. :)

Then this morning, I stood Josie up in her playpen and showed her how to hold on to the sides, and she stood up all on her own!!!!!! Another awesome milestone!!!!!!!!!!!

Until tomorrow.
