Rain, rain go away

Tyler and I went to his friend, James' house last night. I had a pretty good time. At least I wasn't sitting around being bored this time. I really don't get it though. I try to talk to Tyler's friends and get in on conversations but they all look at me like I'm an idiot. It was really getting on my nerves.

Josh got there late, but I was glad he was there because he always talks to me. But then some kid named Blake started "playing" the guitar. (I'm using the term playing very loosely here.) He had it hooked up to a huge amp and he was blasting it right in our faces. Then they were mocking Josh for playing bass. Anyway, he got super pissed and left because he didn't want to put up with them anymore.

After that we played ping pong for a while. One of Tyler's other friends played ping pong with us so that was pretty cool. James, the guy whose house we were at, acted like he was pissed the whole night. He said like 2 words to Tyler for the whole night and I think it was because I was there. I don't think I'm gonna go back now because no one will talk to Ty while I'm there. I really don't get why I'm being treated like a leper.

On top of being an outsider all weekend, it's been raining pretty much constantly. It's really dark and gloomy outside. Oh well, maybe next week will be prettier and warmer.

A friendship gone

Well, I mailed TJ's ring and everything to him today. As I was putting everything in the envelope last night I was crying. I know it's stupid, he's made it clear since he got back from overseas that he has no desire to be my friend. But we were best friends all through high school. It just feels like a piece of my past is gone. It just really sucks.

And to think that the reason he doesn't want to hang out with me is because I have Josie. I am so lucky to have such an amazing little girl that it amazes me that he could not want to be around me because I have her. I know that if that's how he feels then it's best that he's not in my life. But my heart still aches for the friend that I used to have.

Normally on the weekend I'm cleaning constantly, trying to fix the mess that's always made during the week. Well, this weekend I decided against that. I decided that I can handle a slightly messy house if that meant that I could play more with Josie. So yesterday we went to the park and took lots of family pictures. Beth is supposed to be uploading them soon. Then today we went to see Grandma and Grandpa.

I don't know what it is, but every time we go up there, Josie starts screaming any time she sees any men. It doesn't matter who it is. I think it's because she's always around women and the only man she ever sees is Tyler. Anyway, she finally calmed down and let Daddy and Grandpa hold her so we got some really good pics. I can't wait to see how they turn out!

Hanging out and shooting people

Well tonight was pretty fun. I went with Ty to James' house to hang out. We played Badmitton for a while when we first got there then we just kinda hung out and listened to music. It was pretty awkward because I didn't really know anyone there other than James, Josh and Ty so I ended up just kinda sitting over by myself. All in all though it was pretty fun. I got to shoot everyone in the stomach with an airsoft gun, so that was pretty fun :)

Well, I'm exhausted and I feel terrible so I'm gonna head to bed.

It's been a long day

I went to work from 8:30 to 5, then to the tanning bed, then home to help Beth make a diaper cake for the baby shower. Wow I'm tired. We just finished the diaper cake and it's almost 11pm. It turned out so nice! It was zebra stripe and hot pink with pink daisies on it.

Well, I'm gonna head to bed. I'm so tired!!!!

For Maddie :)

About a month ago I recieved a link to a blog about a mother who had just lost her beautiful baby girl. I cried as I read her posts and to this day, I read her blog daily. She is a very strong woman and a wonderful mother. Through Maddie, I have come to realize that life is precious and I cherish every moment I have with my little honey bee. I believe that Maddie's purpose in this world was to help moms like me become better parents and cherish every moment with their little ones (even when they wake up at 3 am). lol.

Maddie's mom asked everyone to take pictures of their kids today in memory of Maddie. Here are some that I have taken. Josie is wearing bows for Maddie. :)

Urg!! Stupid maintenance man!

If there's one thing that I can't stand, it's being lied to and thats exactly what my maintenance man has done yet again. He told me last week that he would lay my carpet upstairs next week. Well, I called him to see what day he was going to do it, and (big surprise) he told me it would be another week or two. So I called the landlord and he was so hateful and said that he was going to call me back but of course he never did. All of this is really driving me insane and I really wish that he would get the show on the road.

In other news, lol, I just found Josie's little sleeper from when she was a newborn. I can't believe how tiny it is! We layed it on her and it only came to her knees. I'm so happy that she's big and healthy, but sometimes I really miss her being so tiny and cuddly. :)

Food fight!

Or at least that's how it seemed at dinner time tonight. Josie discovered that she can spit her baby food out and make it go everywhere. And I really mean EVERYWHERE! It was so funny to see the expression on her face when she realized what she could do. She smiled so big! And every time I would give her a spoonful of food she would spit it, then kind of chuckle. I was trying to make a sad face so she could see that it wasn't a good thing, but all I could do was laugh. She's so gorgeous and perfect, even with pears all over her little face. :)

Josie is so big!

I can't believe how big our little honey bee is! We went this past weekend and bought her a few more sleepers and you can tell that she won't be in them for long. Now I wish that I would have gotten all 9 months instead of the majority of them being 6 months.

She's had a belly ache some this afternoon so she's been kind of fussy. She woke up at 3 am this morning because she was hungry and had a belly ache. Even though I was really tired and I didn't want to leave my warm bed, I loved sitting with her and feeding her. I love those little moments where it's just me and her in the dark living room all bundled up. I'm so happy to have my little honey bee. :)

So I have been reading this blog ever day about a woman whose baby passed away at 4 months old. I got the link through a message on Facebook and normally I would just read it and move on. But this blog really stuck in my mind and so I follow it daily. Reading about the pain that this mom feels and how much she misses her little girl reminds me that I am so lucky to have a beautiful healthy little girl. It makes me so thankful to have every second with her. Well she's asleep now so I'm gonna head up to bed.

Fun at the park :)

I have had such an amazing day with my little honey bee. Finally, after all the cold weather, we got a day in the 70's so that we could enjoy some outside time. Since it was such a pretty day, we decided to take Josie to the park and let her get some fresh air. She seemed really indifferent to the whole thing. Haha. But all in all we had a lot of fun.

When we got back, I told Tyler he could shoot me with his air soft gun. I have never seen two guys so excited about wanting to shoot me. lol. I shot Ty first and I got him really good in the chest. Then he shot me but it didn't hit me really hard so his mark is a lot worse than mine. lol. Then I got to shoot Josh in the chest which was hilarious.

They told me that I could come play airsoft with them, but I know I won't be so great starting out and I don't want them picking on me and saying that it's just because I'm a girl. Plus, I'm too pretty to have all those marks on me. lol. I still think I might go try it one day. Who knows.

Well, Josie is in dream land, so I'm gonna download some music then I'm gonna follow suit. :)

BTW, I'm also working on a new layout for my blog, so trust me, it'll look better soon.

She's a Daddy's girl :)

Well, she truly is a daddy's girl. Look how happy she is with him. :) I'm so lucky to have him, he's an amazing dad and boyfriend. Tomorrow is our 3 year anniversary and I'm really happy. We're going to take Josie to my mom and we're going to go see a movie and eat dinner.

Today has been long and has gone by really slowly. The lady finally brought me my puppy but I still can't bring her home. That lady is such a poor excuse for a woman. That puppy looks so terrible! She has the mange so bad that almost all of her hair is gone and there were fleas all over her. She said that she had dipped her twice already, but I know that she was lying through her teeth. If she had dipped her, she wouldn't have looked so bad. I hope that she finds homes for the other pups too because I'm sure they are just as bad.

Every day I'm going to add a new pic of Josie and one of Freya,(our new puppy) so that everyone can see how much they are growing and changing. I can't wait to bring little Freya home. It'll be about 3 or 4 weeks before I can bring her home though. I don't want her around Josie until she's well. One good thing though is that while she's at work I can work on training her and everything.

So, anyway, Josie got to see her Nana today. She loves seeing her and hanging out there. She always smiles so big. :) She is going to watch her tomorrow afternoon where we can go out to dinner.

We also saw Shane this afternoon. Well, pretty much we went in his room and watched him play WoW. lol. He finds out the results from his biopsy tomorrow. I'm sure it's nothing, but we're still anxious to find out.

Well, it's pretty late so I'm going to head to bed and try to get some sleep. Gotta wake up early for work tomorrow.

Had a busy day!

We took Josie back to see Dr. Azzouz today. He said that she is doing better but he is giving her some Prednisone to help break up the congestion in her chest. I really hope it works because you can feel her chest rumbling when you hold her. We also had to take her to her 6 month checkup at the WIC office. The lady over there told us to start giving her water in a cup with handles. Seriously?! She doesn't even hold her bottle yet. Wow. lol

Then after we left there, I had a tattoo appointment to get the tattoo of Josie's footprint touched up. I stopped by and picked Josh up then I went on over there. My appointment was at 6 and we got there on time, but he was working on someone else and they said that it would be about 45 minutes before he could start on mine. I finally got back there at about 730. It's ridiculous. Both times I've gone there, I've ended up waiting over an hour when I had a scheduled appointment. If he wants to run a business, he should really respect his customers. After all, I was paying him, not the other way around.

All in all, I've had a pretty good day. Hopefully tomorrow will be good, too.
