Well, Josie is officially in size 3 diapers now! :) I can't believe she's that big already. I was going through her baby clothes yesterday and the newborn clothes look soooo tiny! It's hard to believe that she was ever really that small. She has two doctor's appointments tomorrow, so she's going to be exhausted by the end of the day. I can't wait until it's warmer so that we can get her out and about more.
It was so stormy and gloomy outside today. I got a little worried there for a while because they said that the winds could get up to 50 mph. Luckily it was just some wind and heavy rain and there wasn't anything major. I was so scared that something would happen and I wouldn't be able to get home to Tyler and Josie.
The lady that was supposed to be bringing my puppy today never showed up. After about 10 texts and a couple of phone calls I finally tracked her down. She said that she couldn't bring the puppy because it was storming. I don't know about her car, but mine came equipped with windshield wipers for just such an occasion. lol. She texted me again and said that she was bringing the puppy on Thursday. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
Well, Josie is fussing and wants out of her bounce-a-roo. She loves that thing for about 10 minutes but then she get's pretty bored. lol. Until tomorrow.....
So much fun!

I have had the best weekend! Yesterday was the "adventure" to Chattanooga. I can't tell you how many times I was scared almost to death on the interstate. That thing is just not my cup of tea. But we finally made it and we had a lot of fun, too.
After we finally made it back, I got to go to Whitney's party and had a great time. It was too funny! She's pretty cool and she lives a few apartments down, so I think I'm gonna start hanging out with her more.
Then, this morning, Beth texted me and asked if I could watch Aiden. I said sure because, A: they watch Josie whenever I ask, and B: I wanted to see what it would be like to have a baby and a 2 1/2 year old. Tyler and I want another baby when Josie is two or three.
Aiden and I have been playing outside for about 2 hours. He saw some kids outside from the apartment next door and the little boy (probably 4 years old) looked at Aiden's shirt, then proceeded to tell him that Elmo was stupid and he was a poop face. So, of course I did what any self respecting aunt would do, I told the kid that he was a brat and Aiden didn't want to play with him anyway. lol. Aiden didn't care either way, he just said, "Byeeeeee!" and then walked away. I could probably learn a few things from this kid.
Now, Josie and Aiden are both down for their naps. The only problem is, Josie's been asleep for about an hour and she's due to wake up any time now and Aiden just layed down. Well, I'm going to go work on Josie's first year shutterfly book. :)

I had a really awesome day today. Me, my sister, Josh and Ryan all went to the book store in Chattanooga. I had to go get Josie some books for storytime, she loves looking at all the bright pictures. :) After we left The bookstore, we eventually found petsmart and got a bunch of stuff for the new puppy. I can't wait to get her! The lady is bringing her to me on Monday so we really need to think of a name for her. Lol.
Well I'm off to go clean the house...

Yesterday was a very long day. We had to take Josie to see the dr because she hasn't been able to keep anything down for a while. I'm so scared that she's going to get dehydrated. Dr. Azzouz looked at her and said that she has bronchitis and the stomach virus. He gave her some more meds so maybe they will help her get over it.
I just can't understand why babies get sick! I know for a fact that if me and Ty could get sick in her place, we would in a heartbeat. Tyler's friend's baby is sick, too. He has RSV, though. It really breaks my heart to see any baby sick, but especially my own. Even though she doesn't feel good, she still smiles and jabbers all the time.
She woke up this morning at 3 am because she was hungry again. She loves the taste of Pedialite, but it really doesn't fill her up. After she drank her bottle, she went right back to sleep though, so that was good. I hope she gets better quickly. I hate seeing my Honeybee sick :(

I am so excited about starting a blog. Before, I always wanted to start one but I never had anything to talk about. Now I have my beautiful little Josephine. She is like a story that unravels a little more each day, and I'm always anxious to see what turns that story will take.
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Samantha and I am 22 years old and I am the mother of a beautiful 6 month old baby girl. She is the reason I do everything I do. Not a day goes by that I don't feel so thankful for having her in my life. Tyler, my amazing boyfriend, who I love and adore, is the best father anyone could ask for. Josie loves him so much and when she sees him her whole face lights up.
As I'm writing this, Josie is swinging beside me, sucking on her hand. I'm still so amazed that she's mine. It seems like just yesterday that we were heading to the hospital to have her. I remember those first days, how stressed and exhausted Tyler and I were, and I'm amazed. Then, it seemed that the world was turned upside down and every second of every day was nerve wracking. Now, I look back on those days and I can't help but smile. I've never loved someone as much as I love her. I never knew it was possible.
Well, I hear the familiar little grunts and squeals of excitement which means she wants to play.
Until tomorrow. :)
