Rabies Clinic

4/30/11
Well, today was rabies clinic at work. It's basically our busiest day of the year where we see well over 500 animals for rabies and booster shots. Normally, I draw up shots, but this year I got stuck writing certificates. It wasn't as bad as it normally is, so I didn't have a completely terrible day. I got to hang out with my friend Casandra which was cool. I haven't seen her in forever! I think I have more in common with her than the other girls I work with because she's a mom too. I'm hoping maybe we'll get to hang out sometime soon. Maybe when James teaches me to play the guitar. lol.

After work, I went to Walmart and picked up a bunch of flowers for my flower bed. I wanted to plant them and everything today but they took so long being idiots at the store that now I have to do it in the morning. They went ahead and charged me for 4 bags of potting soil when they didn't even have that kind in stock, so I had to go to customer service and get my money back. Basically, it was a giant pain in the booty.

I just logged on to check my adsense account, and guess what! It's been disabled due to fraudulent clicks. I can completely say now that Google is gay!!! (and not the good gay, where there's shopping and boy talk involved.) Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. Haha.

Well, I think I'm gonna go take Josie upstairs and then do some p90x. :)

Until tomorrow. :)

Had a good day today :)

4/28/11
I had a really great day today. :) I slept really well last night because of the storms, but I'm so glad it didn't get really bad here. I know that we were really close to having tornados like they did in Ringgold. I feel so bad for those people. I really can't even imagine losing everything to a tornado. :(

Josie and I went and saw Mama, Beth and Aiden this afternoon. She's been so fussy all afternoon with a belly ache and her gums hurting. As soon as we got to Mama's though, she calmed down and just sat and stared at Mama. She loves going over there so much!

Well, I'm going to go ahead and head on up to bed. I'm soooooo tired!

Until tomorrow!

No new blog tonight :(

4/27/11
Well, I just wanted to let everyone know that there are a lot of severe thunderstorms moving through our area so I won't be posting a new blog tonight. I'll be back tomorrow though!

Well.....yeah

4/26/11
That just about sums it up. Today hasn't been the greatest day. Josie woke up this morning an hour early. I don't consider that a bad thing though. I look at it as me getting to spend extra time with her before I have to go to work.

Anyway, while at work I got some pretty shitastic texts and the shitfest continued when I got home. I know everything with this particular brand of shit will work out, but I hope it's sooner rather than later.

After work, Mama, Aiden and Beth all came over and visited with Josie. :) Aiden played with Freya for a long time and kept picking up Josie's keys when she would drop them. She's in that stage now where she keeps dropping stuff just to see if you'll pick it up. I guess that means that she's learning cause and effect now. :) Or she's learning how to make us her slaves. lol.

Well, I'm gonna get in bed because I have to work tomorrow. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day than today was.

Until tomorrow.

Easter :)

4/24/11
We had a great Easter today!

First thing this morning, we got up and got Josie ready to go to the Easter church service with Tyler's parents. When she left with them, the house felt so empty. It's odd when me and Tyler are both here, but Josie is with someone else. lol. We had the tv on Nick Jr. for her when she left and we sat and watched it almost the entire time she was gone. haha. I think those shows make you lose brain cells. :)

After we got Josie back, she and I went to see Grandma and Grandpa. We had a great time up there and she wasn't even really fussy. We hunted eggs with Aiden and took a lot of pictures. Grandma and Grandpa were so excited to see her! We should definitely bring her up there more often. They can't get over how much she has grown. She weighs almost 20 lbs now! :)

We went to Mama's house next and ate dinner with her. I wish we could have spent more time down there but it was Josie's bed time so we had to get her home. Mama got her an Easter basket filled with toys and candy. She got her a little dolly and for some reason it really cracks Josie up. She just stares and stares at it.

Now I'm back at home and Josie is sleeping in her crib. I'm exhausted and I feel like I'm coming down with the stomach virus that everyone has had. I think I'm just gonna head on up to bed.

Until tomorrow. :)

Urg :(

4/23/11
No movie night tonight. :( We were planning on everyone coming over, eating pizzas and watching a new zombie movie but everyone is either busy, sick, or working. Oh well, maybe it can be kind of a stay at home date night for me and Ty. And there's a bright silver lining to this otherwise shitastic turn of events: I don't have to put on makeup. :) Yay! lol.

I've been having a really good weekend with Josie. Beth and I set up her backdrops last night and took her Easter pictures and they are soooo beautiful! Beth does a really good job. We got one of Josie sitting in the basket acting like she's the Vanna White of Easter. She's holding up an egg and smiling so big. :)

Tomorrow, Josie is going to church with Carol for the Easter service. Even though I'm not Christian, I'm ok with Josie going to the service because she doesn't really know what's going on. When she gets older, though, I want her to know about a lot of different religions so she won't feel forced into Christianity like so many people around here are. I know that she's her own little person and she will believe in whatever suits her and I will accept her for that. :)

After she gets back from church we have to go up to my Grandma's house and hunt Easter eggs with Aiden. Then we have to go down and hang out with Mama and eat dinner. We're having ham (YES!) and I think we might let Josie try some mashed potatoes or something. :)

Until tomorrow. :)

Coheed concert!!!!!!!!!!!

4/22/11
So, the other day we went to a concert but I'm just now getting to write about it. lol. Tyler, Josh and I went to the Tabernacle in Atlanta to see Coheed and Cambria. It was so incredibly amazing. I had seen them once before in concert but that was at the Gwinnett Center and they were just little dots on stage. This time around, they were so close!

We took Josie to visit Carol (where my mom was going to pick her up from) before we left for Atlanta. I know a lot of people would laugh at me, but it hurt so bad to leave her. I knew she was safe and that she would be taken care of, but I still had a hard time leaving her. This was going to be the first night that me and Josie had ever spent apart. The whole week leading up to the concert, any time I would think of it, I would get really anxious. I mean, I had her with me every second of every day for 9 months and then every night after that for 7 months I knew that she was always where I could get to her quick. It killed me to think that I was nearly 3 hours away from her.

Anyway, so I finally managed to pry myself away from her and we started on our way to Atlanta. The trip went pretty smoothly, unlike our last trip to Atlanta where we got super lost and ended up in like South Carolina at 2 am. Tyler drove most of the way down but I took over when we started getting into Atlanta. The only trouble we had was finding the right streets to turn onto in downtown. They are one way streets (I defied this law rather well I might add) so they were very confusing. We stopped and asked a valet where the Tabernacle was and he gave me some really backwards directions but we finally found it. We could tell that we were at the right spot by the huge line that circled the block.

The venue was unbelievable! I had heard that you were close to the stage but I didn't realize just how close. Josh and Tyler stayed in the middle of the crowd but I made my way to the side. What with the mosh pits, 1000 degree temp in there, and my iffy blood sugar, I thought that was the best move. lol. I really wish I could have stayed up front with them though. I couldn't see really well from where I was and I ended up getting elbowed in the face anyway. lol.

We decided that Josh could drive us home because I am a major nervous wreck in big cities. Especially if I don't know where I'm going. I'm a very controlling person and I hate not having control over the situation. If I've been there before, then I'm ok. But if I haven't, I'm gripping the steering wheel and freaking out the entire time. We finally made it home around 2 am. I was so exhausted that I just went straight to bed. :) I was pretty jazzed too because I got to sleep late the next morning.

When we went to get Josie the next morning, she was so happy to see us! She kept saying dada and mama over and over. We have such a perfect baby girl!

I really can't wait to see them in concert again, though. They put on such a great show! And I love the fact that the first set was acoustic. It was my fav! And now I have a new fav song by them (Pearl of the Stars). All in all, I think we had a really kick ass time and I can't wait to do it again!

Swing #3....another one bites the dust

4/20/11
I've had a pretty good day today. :) It was storming really bad as I was leaving for work so I was late. I could hardly see two feet in front of me and I was behind what looked like everyone in Chatsworth. Anyway, I finally got to work and clocked in, then I had to take Freya out and try to convince the little bugger to go potty even though it was raining. For some reason she is completely obsessed with water. She'll drink and drink until she throws up. Needless to say, the never ending rain puddles outside did not go over well.

Finally, though, the sun came out and I got to come home and see Tyler and Josie for lunch. This is seriously always the high light of my mornings. :) After work I went to the tanning bed and got my butt scorched (urg!). But then I got to come home to my beautiful baby girl. Every time I see that little honey bee I fall in love all over again. :)

Mama, Beth and Aiden came by to see Josie. She loves seeing them soooo much! She kicks her legs and swings her arms and gets super excited. She really loves seeing Aiden because he's another little person. :)

Well, the only super bad thing of the day just happened. Josie's swing just broke. This swing is our life saver and it just commited suicide. I have no idea what is wrong with it. All I know is that it will play music, but it won't swing. I'm beginning to hate Fisher Price. This is the third swing that we have had, that has broken. I'm going to start pulling my hair out now. I found the booklet so I guess I will have to call them tomorrow and see what I can do about it. My guess is that they will say that I'm shit out of luck. If it ain't one thing, it's another.

Oh well. It is what it is.

Until tomorrow!

O...M....G

4/19/11
My life is so fast paced right now. Finally, after a few weeks, I got my blog up and running. Now I'm just wondering when my life is going to slow down. It feels like I'm stuck in fast forward when I wish I could find the pause button. Between work, cleaning, cooking, Josie and errands, I hardly have time to think. I'm just so glad to have Tyler to help me keep my head on straight.

I finally took the tutu's that I made down to the Prom Dress shop in Eton. I'm hoping that they will be big sellers. :) I kinda got my facebook page up for my boutique but I didn't have a pic on the computer at work so I couldn't finish it. I'm hoping to eventually be able to get an Etsy account. :)

Hope you like the new blog!!!!

p.s. If I ever mention you in a blog and you don't like what I say, I'm sorry. I just want this blog to be a place where I can say what I want, when I want. I'm not censoring anything, so ya better be nice :)
